And the winner is... The Guardian!

In the race to be the first to tweet the sentences of Chris Huhne and Vicky Pryce, the Guardian was the undisputed winner, tweeting the results before any other news organisation.

In terms of the broadcasters, ITV News won the Chris Huhne race, beating Sky by 7 seconds. In the Pryce race Sky's Adam Boutlon won, leaving ITV News trailing in the dust and Sky's official feed languishing a mere 1 behind them.

The BBC were nowhere to be seen. Probably because they're having a meeting to decide on whether the proposed tweet has any semantically troubling issues.
